How to Apply
- Shake the lakme mascara well before application
- Apply mascara from root to tips using the bristles
- If required apply the second coat, leave it to dry
- Wipe off the excess mascara

My Experience
The Lakme Absolute Flutter Secret Volumizing Mascara has a creamy consistency with the an intense black shade. The thick consistency is responsible for drying up of the product. It has fragrance similar to spirit which can be felt on opening the bottle, but don't worry it won't last longer. The Lakme mascara black is the only available shade that highlights your eyes at the best.
Its weightless and the bristles are similar to other mascaras, stiff and coarse. The brush has good volume to dig out the required quantity to provide thick eyelashes. This is responsible for the volumized eyelashes.
As the product claims, it is smudge proof and doesn't get spread after application. The product has chances of wearing off when rubbed with your palms. The brand also claims as Lakme mascara waterproof, I can't completely agree with it, as it spreads a little when it comes in contact with water. You can't claim it completely water proof but maybe it's partially water proof.
The lakme mascara states that it can lengthen and curl up your eyelashes, what i felt is that it can lengthen your eyelashes but when it comes to curling it is not much sincere to it's job. Even if it curls your lashes it won't last longer. The product also doesn't caused any kind of irritation to my skin. But always do a test dose before digging the whole product. The staying power is adjustable as it stays for about 6-7 hours.
What I felt with the product is that it can clump when you apply. So be careful when you are applying it, wipe of the excess product in bristles before application.
When you are looking into the price it cost Rs675, don't you feel it is a bit overpriced? Since the product is not doing what it claims, the price is not reasonable.

Lakme Absolute Flutter Secret Volumizing Mascara is so sincere in it's color and staying power. It also add volume to your eyelashes. It fails a little in it's waterproof capacity, as it get washed away or wears off slowly on rubbing. It is also not economical. If you need voluminous eyelashes then go for it
